Link Aadhaar with PAN card here

You can link your Aadhaar card with PAN card by using income tax efiling link or by sending SMS, If you are filing tax return from July 2017 on wards, it is mandatory to link your Aadhar card with PAN card.

This linking is useful for E-Verification of Income Tax returns using OTP sent to their mobile registered with Aadhaar.

 

1st method [No need to login]

Navigate to https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/e-Filing/Services/LinkAadhaarHome.html

Fill in the details [Self explanatory] and click on “Link Aadhaar”

Confirmation  text  – Aadhaar-PAN linking is completed successfully

2nd method [Login to e-file site]

Navigate to https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/e-Filing/UserLogin/LoginHome.html

Login with your credentials [PAN number is your User ID]

Navigate to Profile Settings | Link Aadhaar

Fill in the details [Self explanatory] and click on “Link Aadhaar”

Confirmation  text – Aadhaar-PAN linking is completed successfully

3rd method [Through mobile SMS]

Send SMS in following format, type

UIDPAN <12 digit Aadhaar no.> <10 digit PAN> and send to 567678 or 56161

Example – UIDPAN 1111222233334444 AAAAA1234A
